We Support Love for Everyone!
And finally Oregon does too! Thankfully due to a court decision on May 19th 2014, all Oregonians can enjoy equal marriage rights! That means Kotetsu and Daimei are getting legally hitched!
The tides are turning, but many of our friends and loved ones are still waiting for this day.
"I've said this before to many of you dear friends and family members over the years, but I feel the need to say it again, out loud and directly at this very happy time. I am so blessed and joyful to find a person I love who wants to spend a live with me. I can't wait to join our lives together ceremonially and legally, as our hearts are already entwined. And though we will move ahead with planning the ceremony, WE WILL WAIT to take that legal step until there is equality for everyone. Love is love. As a bisexual woman in a heterosexual relationship, I will not take advantage of my privileges as a perceived heterosexual that are not afforded to the rest of my heart, my family and my friends. Kotetsu and I support marriage equality as right action."
