Everything you need to know to get ready for our wedding!

Where: LanSu Chinese Garden

Located in the heart of Chinatown in NW Portland, LanSu is one city block of magic. The garden surrounds a pond and has many covered walkways and open air buildings.  This serene place has come to mean a lot to us and we hope you enjoy sharing our special moment there.

What to Wear:

We want you to be comfortable and festive.  The ceremony will be outside in the evening, in early October.  Please consider dressing in layers for warmth.  The garden is about 70% under cover, but this is Oregon and rain on a wedding day is a blessing, so you may want to take the possibility of rain into account when planning your duds.  Also, the garden has many areas with beautiful cobblestones, so you may want to leave your stillettos at home.

Order of Operations:

The Ceremony will begin promptly at 7pm, followed by the reception.   Please plan to arrive at 6:30pm so you don't miss any of the fun. At some point there will be a cake cutting, and most likely some circle dances.   For more information about things happening during the wedding weekend, please click here.

Eat, Drink and Be Married:

There will be a variety of appetizers available to gnosh.  All food items will be vegetarian with plenty of vegan options available.  We will also have lots of refreshment choices, including a tea cart with three different Tao of Tea flavors to enjoy.
